PARIS

When you think of a city break paired with a romantic getaway, what comes to your head? Of course the answer is going to be Paris!
Attracting around 30 million visitors per year, the city of love is one of the most beautiful and busy destinations in Europe.
With all the amazing things Paris has to offer, this city will keep you busy from dusk till dawn. Here is our lil’ “must do” list so you can enjoy an unforgettable short and sweet 3-day getaway.

DAY 1:
Check in and visit the Louvre Museum. The time to go is pretty much irrelevant, as it’s always crowded, morning and afternoon. You want to tick this one out early in the piece. The Louvre is the biggest museum in the world, it is so big that it would take you 100 days to view every piece of art, but you could only spent 30 seconds in each piece.
Another interesting place to visit is Pere Lachaise, both the largest Parisian park and cemetery in one. No one can say for certain how many people have been buried there but we can tell you that you will be able to find names like Jim Morrison, Oscar Wild, Chopin, Edith Piaf and Moliere.
Only a half hour train ride away you will bump into the famous Moulin Rouge. If you like cabaret shows, this will be a MUST! We, on the other hand, preferred to take a five minute walk to watch some of the locals play basketball in one of the prettiest courts in the world: Pigalle Basketball Court and all its multicoloured gloriousness.

DAY 2:
Get ready to be amazed by the one and only Tour Eiffel. The tower and it’s surroundings alone will take you most of the morning. Star in Trocadéro, where you get off the metro and walk around enjoying the different views of this stunning monument. Whilst in the neighborhood check out the side streets where you can see the hidden views of the tower as well.
After enjoying a delicious Parisian breakfast, walk along Champs-Élysées and finish at the incredible L’Arc de Triomphe.
Later in the day make sure to return to the Eiffel Tower at night to get it in the dark and in its true glory! It gets incredibly busy but definitely something you don’t want to miss.
